Our Lemon Oil is safe for the face. Steam distilled lemon essential oil is produced using heat and water vapor, which naturally removes nearly all furanocoumarins (including bergapten). Lemon Oil is also the least used oil in for formula and is far below safe recommendations.

Applying Daily Oil to slightly damp skin helps it spread easily and seal in moisture. After washing or showering, lightly pat your skin so it is still damp, then smooth on a small amount of oil.

Start with 1–3 drops for your face, or a small amount for each area of your body. Warm it between your palms and apply to slightly damp skin. Add more only where needed—a little goes a long way.

Start with a small amount of Daily Oil and let it settle before applying sunscreen and makeup. Follow your sunscreen’s directions and apply it as a separate layer; do not mix it with the oil. Daily Oil does not provide sun protection. If your products pill or feel greasy together, try using the oil in your evening routine instead.
